Schoolhouse Roundtable Farabi, Dillinghams, Diepenbrocks, and Redmons These recordings were made on November 25, 2023, at the District 83 Lone Cedar (a.k.a. Mogge) School located in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. Three of the participants attended school here. Learn more about the historic property at www.LoneCedarSchoolhouse.com. Filmmaker's Note: "This was an experiment. I knew that the audio was going to be a challenge and I regreat that I didn't take a different approach. Still, it provides a record of an interesting conversation between kids who all grew up in a part of rural Kansas that didn't see running water or electricity, in many cases, until the mid-1950s. My great-grandmother and her siblings all attended this school. My cousins, Dianne (Nehring) Farabi and Rhonda Nehring (her niece) have owned the schoolhouse in succession.
