Beatrice Ann "Betty" Brungardt 1918-1992
When I told my friend Shane Brundgardt about this project, he offered to send me a copy of an interview that he conducted with his grandmother for a high school class. He thought I might enjoy it. I did—very much. I had heard some of these same things from my own grandmother—who grew up on a farm just 30 miles north. I asked Shane if I could publish it and he agreed. This format is out of the ordinary for Emil Redmon's Cow. I hope you enjoy it.—Mark Feiden
